So finally I’ve made the jump. I have been dabbling with various linux distributions over the years. This is the year of Linux for me, where I finally made the switch to Arch linux in my primary Desktop PC.
Reason for switching from Windows 11
- Laggy, zombie windows processes
- Copilot intrusion all over the Operating system
- No control over updates which are buggy most of the time.
Reasons for choosing Arch
- Rolling bleeding edge releases
- Awesome community
- Total control
- Very good package manager
- Minimalistic OS which gets out of the way
- Stable as a rock
